What it does
Your AI first works out whether the error is in your code, your settings, an outside service or the AI tool itself, keeps a restore point, and changes one thing at a time instead of piling fixes on top of fixes.
What you get
- A restore point before anything changes, so you can always go back
- A plain answer to where the error comes from: code, settings, an outside service or the AI tool
- One small fix at a time, each checked the same way the error first appeared
- If it cannot be fixed: everything rolled back and a help request ready to post
What you do
- Download the file and hand it to your AI
- Paste the whole error, or describe what you see
- Do the steps only you can do, such as topping up an account
How to start
1. After downloading, send this to your AI together with the zip file:
Install the Skill in this zip file into this project's Skill folder (Claude Code uses .claude/skills/, Codex uses .agents/skills/, Cursor uses .cursor/skills/). Read it first, then tell me when it is ready.
2. Then just say what you want, for example:
My project shows an error and won't run. Help me fix it.
How we tested it
- Two sample projects: a shop that will not start because of a misnamed file and then a missing setting, and a quote bot that fails because its AI account ran out of credit.
- All three tools fixed both shop problems one at a time after saving a restore point, and kept the owner's unsaved change.
- For the credit error, none changed code or called a paid service; each pointed to the billing page. No reply revealed any part of a key.
Limits
- The full rollback-and-help-request path has not yet been tested on a problem that could not be fixed.
- Online builders such as Lovable and Bolt use the prompt version.
