Use linear-launch-film to make a launch film for my product. Start by asking for the product story and three moments.
How it helps
  1. Collects the product name, value sentence, audience, three product moments, format and any authorized assets.
  2. Writes a storyboard where each cut adds new information, then connects focused action, typography, multiple results or applications, overview and closing action.
  3. Adapts the DOM/CSS landscape or Canvas portrait starter to the brief, with complete English/Chinese copy and independently composed scenes.
  4. Renders stills and a deterministic H.264 MP4, optionally muxes the original tonal score, then records stream data and honest picture, motion and listening checks.

Scope & limitations
SaaS and app launchesIndie makersProduct and content teams
  • It creates original vector, text and concept-interface scenes, not live product recordings, voiceover, actors or unverified product functionality.
  • The tested starter can use its original tonal score or silence. Bind sound to visible actions, verify the final mux and do not use unrelated sandy or airy noise.
  • The renderer proves the local source and export; it does not prove platform compression, publishing, audience demand or conversion.
  • The landscape sample is a Useful Mint design concept; the portrait is a separate Echo workflow example, not the same film cropped. Modified open-source motion ports retain their licenses.
Test record2026-10-14

Three distinct briefs per tool from the extracted package, whose files match the local member-download test: an English landscape campaign, a 9:16 Chinese feedback SaaS and a difficult long-name Chinese landscape delivery workspace. Actual HTML, MP4, decoded frames and QA are retained.

ToolVersionResult
Claude Code2.1.299Three isolated package-based briefs: English landscape, Chinese portrait and a long-name Chinese landscape. Actual exports and bounded decoded-frame review are recorded; this does not certify every future output.
CodexCLI 0.154.0Three isolated package-based briefs with edited HTML, storyboards and silent MP4s. Full decode, marked-text layout and brand replacement checks are recorded separately from production delivery.

  • v2.3 · 2026-10-14
    • Rebuilt landscape scenes with attributed open-source camera, cascade, fan and layered-assembly techniques.
    • Added complete English/Chinese copy and separate landscape/portrait sample playback.
    • Uses official Useful Mint leaf assets and requires brand-identity review before delivery.
    • Keeps silence as the default and records package-bound two-tool verification.
  • v2.1 · 2026-10-13
    • Added a separately composed 9:16 portrait starter with large readable Chinese type and safe-area cards.
    • Replaced the enlarged bitmap cup with a crisp embedded vector illustration.
    • Added calm, drive and sparse tonal presets driven by the film timeline instead of fixed 27-second timestamps.
    • The renderer now reads each template's declared width and height.
  • v2.0 · 2026-10-13
    • Reworked the starter around 8–12 meaningful fast-cut beats instead of extending one artifact with camera drift.
    • Added original tonal audio with action-bound accents and removed unrelated noise-bed effects.
    • Added storyboard, export helper and member-download forward-test evidence across Claude Code and Codex.
  • v1.1 · 2026-10-12
    • Version 1.1: two-tool, three-brief validation and context-loss-safe export.
    • Improved portrait type size and focus-panel readability.
    • Added bounded still, overflow and ffprobe checks to the sample case.
